Position Title: Product Training Specialist (Field Trainer)
Reports To Product: Training Manager
Job Overview: The Product Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance the product knowledge and sales capabilities of our field teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring our sales professionals, internal/external customers, and end users are equipped to effectively communicate the value of our products in an accurate manner.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Become a subject matter expert in the business model and product offerings and sales techniques.
- Create instructionally sound materials to enhance learner understanding using a variety of tools. (i.e., Articulate Storyline, Power Point, Excel, Canva, various animation software, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, etc.)
- Design and execute in person training workshops, webinars, and tradeshow events that effectively teach and engage stakeholders.
- Support the sales team with ad hoc materials creation to support individual customer needs/requests.
- Maintain training reports and customer needs analysis reports.
- Maintain current and future uses of company's LMS platform which include, but are not limited to; course design, managing registration, generate appropriate reports, use analytics to drive learner engagement, ensuring software compliances, providing user support, etc.)
- Create up-to-date eLearning courses (Camtasia, Articulate Rise, Storyline) to ensure learning opportunities are with the latest product offerings.
- Assist with the preparation, setup, and execution of product launches, conventions, and tradeshows.
- Travel as needed to support training events. (Up to 50% at peak times, international included)
- Build out innovative virtual training curriculums and activities.
- Keeps abreast of product changes and continually improves knowledge/skills as necessary to maintain expertise in all assigned products/courses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design/Technology, or related fields
- Must be eligable to work in US and speak English fluently for training. Speaking Korean is a plus but not necessary.
- 5 years of demonstrated teaching/training experience and experience in Instructional Design/Development. Graduate degree can compensate for experience if applicable.
- Ability to travel up to domestically and internationally up to 50%-70% during peak seasons. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- High emotional intelligence, detail oriented, independent performer with a passion for teaching/training.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design elements, and group facilitation.
- An understanding of using eLearning tools such as Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, or similar. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
- Able to analyze complex technical information, deconstruct important points and relate those key points in a way that produces a working understanding for an audience.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent understanding and use of Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Ability to speak Spanish or French is a plus
