CBS 뉴스에 따르면 (아래 링크 참조), 다른 뉴스들과 더불어, Harvard 또한 2021년12월 16일에 SAT 나 ACT 점수를 2026년 까지 필요치 않다고 발표했습니다. Columbia, Cornell, 모든 University of California 캠퍼스들과 다른 많은 대학들도 당분간 아니면 영원히 대학 입학 조건에 이런 시험 결과를 반영하는 것을 유예 할지도 모릅니다. 이 학교들은 여전히 이런 시험 점수들을 참고 하기는 하지만 학생들이 제출 했을 때만 참고 사항이고 필수는 아니라고 합니다. 그 결과 이들 대학교의 합격률은 팬데믹 이전의 숫자에 비해 반이나 3분의 1으로 떨어졌습니다. SAT II 과목 시험과 SAT I writing 부분이 College Board 에서 배제된 이후 시험 성향은 점차적으로 영국의 입시 시스템인 A Level 과 유사한 시스템을 대학 입시에 도입하고 있다고 생각됩니다. 특히 AP 시험이나 IB diploma (또는 certificate) 프로그램들이 있는 학교에서는 더욱 이런 현상이 두드러질 거라고 예상 됩니다.

Even Harvard Says No to SATs
According to CBS news (link at end), among other news outlets, Harvard announced on December 16th that it won`t require SAT or ACT scores up to 2026. It joins Columbia, Cornell, all University of California campuses and many others, which have temporarily or otherwise suspended use of such admissions exams in its undergrad acceptance evaluations (complete and updated list at end). They will still use the test scores, if students send them, but they won`t be required. That has led to a flood of applications to those exclusive universities, driving down acceptance rates to half or a third of their pre-pandemic numbers. Since SAT II subject tests and the SAT I writing section have been suspended by College Board, the testing landscape seems to be following the UK admissions system of A Levels being used for college admissions, or specifically AP tests or IB diploma (or certificate) programs for those schools with IB offerings.

He also was president of Steven Academy in Seoul, Daechi-dong from 2003 to 2018. He is currently a member of NACAC (National Association of College Admission Counseling) and International ACAC (International Association of College Admission Counseling).
